Our estate has succeeded in combining antagonists such as the past and the present, the ancient and the modern. It will make you feel at home despite your different sensibilities. This building, full of charm and history, is a successful blend of an old neo-classical style house and a huge, bright, modern veranda. It has been carefully renovated to make it cosy and warm.
You’ll feel right at home immersed in the bowels of this former priory, with its walls finely decorated with moulded frames and gilded picture rails worthy of a Haussmann mansion. If you look up, you can admire the high ceilings decorated with magnificent cornices. The imposing veranda is a real place of well-being, with its huge picture windows and highly original skylight. This room is full of positive energy, created according to the ‘feng shui’ model. Model was built on a resin floor with an incomparably warm feel. The interior of this unique room exudes a sense of calm and fulfilment. This warm, bright and friendly space is ultra-modern in design, with a ceiling that absorbs background noise, making it ideal for broadcasting live or recorded music. We are located 1 hour from the gates of Paris.

900 YEARS OF HISTORY
The Prieuré Sainte Barbe de Monceaux was rebuilt by royal decree in 1678 when the church of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption, both built in the 12th century, was renovated. Generations of priors have left this magnificent setting as their legacy. The lungs of the village, with its Napoleonic cedars and century-old thuyas, the estate is full of anecdotes closely linked to French history. Among other things, the vaulted cellar, clearly built in the 14th century, leads to an underground passageway which, according to legend, was intended to enable the king and his entourage to escape in the event of an attack on the royal abbey of Moncel.

Overlooked by a rustic 18th-century fireplace and a Second Empire staircase, the Prieuré’s Grand Salon is the ideal place for your meetings.
